What Can I Do With a Newsreader?

A newsreader is an application with an interface that makes it easier to post and download articles to/from Usenet.  Newsreaders are configured by entering your username, password, and Usenet service provider's server name.  Once stored, you don't have to input that information every time you would like to use the newsreader.
