Resolving Error 11001 When Using Tweaknews

Error 11001 means the Tweaknews server could not be located. This is usually a DNS lookup issue or a local software conflict.

Verify Your Server Address

Use the correct server address:

  • news.tweaknews.eu

  • SSL Ports: 563 and 443

Try Alternate Ports

If 563 fails, use 443 as an alternative. Port blocking can occur on certain networks.

Test Your Internet Access

Make sure your Internet is working properly. Reboot your modem or router if needed.

Security Software Checks

Disable your firewall or antivirus temporarily and test the connection. If that solves it, add an exception.

Flush DNS by Restarting Devices

Restart your router and computer to clear DNS cache and allow a fresh lookup.
