Controlled Speed Testing in NZBGet

Accurate speed tests help evaluate how Tweaknews performs in your current setup—without relying on NZBs from Indexers.

Step-by-Step

  1. Setup Working Tweaknews Server:
Go to Settings > NEWS-SERVERS and create a verified server.

  2. Clone for Testing:
Duplicate it and name the copy "Tweaknews SpeedTest".

  3. Enable Optional + X.Limit:
Set Optional to yes and configure X.Limit (e.g., 60 MB).

  4. Prioritize This Server:
Assign Level 0 and turn off all others.

  5. Start NZBGet:
Launch NZBGet and monitor the test’s throughput.

  6. Evaluate Performance:
Compare results under different configurations (port, SSL, etc.).
